Book 3 in the Matt Dowling series
Back in the UK, Matt Dowling is finding the readjustment to Essex living stressful, and a long way from the relaxed and idyllic lifestyle he has been enjoying at his partner’s villa in Fiesole, just north of the Tuscan city of Florence. Getting ready for a Christmas in his thatched cottage, Matt is contacted by an old friend and colleague who needs Matt to help him in a particular investigation.
There have been a number of Cash for Crash induced RTA’s in the area and James wants Matt to help. When one of Matt’s close friends is involved in an induced accident with potentially life threatening consequences, the investigation steps up a gear and Matt finds he is up against some ruthless opponents. As he tracks them down he realises that there is even more at stake when his whole future happiness is put at risk.
